Q: Can I have Microblading whilst pregnant?
A: Unfortunately not. During pregnancy your hormones and blood volume increases by around 20%, meaning that pigments may not settle into the skin. Although very little scientific research has been done in this area, and the perceived risk is low, our policy is to wait until after breastfeeding, which completely reduces any risk to you and your baby.
Q: Is Microblading painful?
A: Pain thresholds vary between different clients. However, after the first pass, where the skin is scored lightly, the area will be completely numbed, providing you with a procedure which is as comfortable as possible. Nearly all clients state that following the procedure it was not as bad as they expected. Usually, if you are fine with waxing or threading, then you will be absolutely fine with Microblading.
Q: How soon will I need a Top-Up after my first session?
A: You will need a Top-Up between 6-12 weeks after your initial treatment.
Q: How often will I need to have Top-Ups after that?
A: After your main Top-Up, they will usually become an annual requirement. However depending on aftercare, skin type, exercise, and sun exposure, a Top-Up every 6 months may be required.
Q: How long does Microblading last?
A: Microblading lasts for between 6-18 months, depending on skin type, lifestyle etc.
Q: Will my brows fade after Microblading?
A: Some of the strokes will fade by around 60% after your initial procedure, which the Top-Up will then rectify.
Q: Can I get Microblading 2 weeks before a big event?
A: We do not recommend undergoing Microblading as little as 2 weeks before any significant events, such as weddings, holidays etc. This is due to it being a 2-Step process (the initial session + your Top-Up), so your Brows will not reach their full potential until you have had the Top-Up. For best results please allow a period of 2 months.
Q: What about if I have oily skin or large pores?
A: We advise to start taking a Zinc supplement 6 weeks before your treatment. Zinc has been proven to reduce the production of Seebum, which is the natural oil in your skin. Taking Zinc 6 weeks before your treatment will prevent pigment migration, as well as helping colour retention.

A: Yes of course! All consultations are completely free and complimentary, with no obligation for you to book the procedure afterwards.
